This rare trade ticket was issued in 1933 as a sale of 100 shares of Sperry Corp from John Melady & Co to W E Hutton for $6 1/4. John Melady & Co was a brokerage house located at 141 Broadway. The ticket has 3 State of New York Transfer Stamps on the front.

W.E. Hutton & Co was a investment bank and brokerage firm founded in 1887 by William E. Hutton. They were purchased by Thomson & McKinnon Auchincloss Kohlmeyer, Inc in 1974. E.F. Hutton & Co was founded by his nephews Edward Francis Hutton and Franklyn Laws Hutton.
