Harris, Upham & Co was a Wall Street brokerage house founded in 1895. In 1975 Smith Barney merged with Harris, Upham & Co to form Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Co. The Harris, Upham name was removed 2 years later. In 2009, Smith Barney merged with Morgan Stanley to form Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.

This rare trade ticket tax bill was issued in 1934 as a sale of 100 shares of Studebaker from the firm Harris, Upham & Co to Fenner & Beane (now Merrill Lynch) Features a State of NY and US Treasury stock transfer stamps on the front.
