This rare trade ticket tax bill was issued in 1943 as a sale of 100 shares of the National Tea Company From Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Bean to E.F. Hutton & Co for $3. Features 2 State of NY and 1 US Treasury stock transfer stamps on the back.

E.F. Hutton & Co. was founded in 1904 by Edward Hutton. The Company became a house hold name in the 1970's and 1980s with the tag line "When E.F. Hutton talks, people listen" E.F. Hutton later merged with Shearson Lehman to become Shearson Lehman Hutton. Fenner & Beane was found in 1916 and later merged with Merrill Lynch to become Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Beane in 1941.
