This program was for the Presidential Dinner in honor of Mr. G. Keith Funston and Mr. Robert W. Haack, September 13, 1967 at The Waldorf-Astoria Grand Ballroom. The cover is presented in heavy cardstock with the NYSE embossed on the front in silver.
Keith Funston was the President of the NYSE for 16 years from 1951 to 1967. He also served as the president of Trinity College, Hartford from 1945 to 1951. Robert W. Haack was the President of the NYSE from 1967 to 1972. He also was the Chairman of the Lockheed Aircraft Corp and President of the NASD.
Notable people who spoke at the dinner were John V Lindsay, Mayor of NYC, and Nelson Rockefeller, Governor of the State of NY. The rare program contains the dinner's proceedings, menu, and a list of the attendees. There were hundreds of guests at the dinner which are all listed and reads as a Who's Who of NYC elite.
