This rare gold bond was issued by the Angelus Hospital Association of Los Angeles in 1929. It is hand signed. The Angelus Hospital was founded in 1906 by doctors and attorney Early Rogers. It was located on Washing Blvd between Maple and Trinity Streets and also contained the College of Physicians and Surgeons. The Association was formed to buy the land and build the complex for the hospital. The hospital operated until 1985.
