Founded in 1886 as The Edison Electric Illuminating Company of Boston the company was started in part by J.P. Morgan. In 1999 Boston Edison merged with several other electric and gas companies to form NSTAR, NSTAR was eventually re-branded as Eversource Energy.  Issued in the 1950s this is a nice example from the legendary Boston Edison Company.
