This booklet was published in 1933 by DeCoppet & Doremus, who were Odd-Lot Dealers on the New York Stock Exchange and member of the Exchange.
At the time, shares on the NYSE were traded in multiples of 100, known as "Round-Lots". "Odd-Lots" are share orders that were under 100 shares. Odd-Lots were traded by specialists on the Exchange floor. As small investor started to get into the Market, thse Odd-Lot Dealer became more important. This booklet explains in detail how the system worked on the floor, fundamental principles of trading odd-lots, from the steps involved to execution in 1933.
