Colt’s Patent Fire Arms Company was founded in 1855 by Samuel Colt and is the most famous arms maker in America. Some of its historic fire arms include the Colt .45 revolver, the M16 carbine, and of course the Colt Peacemaker. Colt later changed it's name to Colt's Manufacturing.
