This Dow Corning Corporation $25,000 Bond Certificate was issued in 1975.  Formed in 1943 as a joint venture between Dow Chemical and Corning Glass to explore the use of silicone and to produce products for the military during WWII.  It became the one the world's largest suppliers of silicone for semiconductors, wafers, and solar cells.  Dow took over he company after its merger with DuPont in 2015.
