This rare Commemorative Bottle was given out by G. Heileman Brewing Company on May 23, 1973 to commemorate their listing on the New York Stock Exchange. The front of the bottle matches the layout of the box; G. Heileman Brewing Company Inc., / New York Stock Exchange / May 23, 1973 / GHB. The back says Limited Edition of 5000 / House of Heileman with their Coat of Arms.
The box is in rough shape but present. Awesome piece of both NYSE history and Brewing History from one of the most iconic beer brands in the U.S.
The G. Heileman Brewing Company was founded in La Crosse, Wisconsin and operated from 1858 to 1996 until it was eventually acquired by Stroh's. They produced some of America's most popular beers including Old Style, Special Export, Blatz, Beck's, and Colt 45. Rare find!
