This H.J. Heinz Company Stock Certificate was issued in 1968.  Founded in 1869 in Pennsylvania the food packing company grew into a major global brand.  One of their first products was Heinz Tomato Ketchup and the 57 Varieties slogan was introduced in 1896.  The number 57 was picked at random.  Heinz was purchased by Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway in 2013 which was the largest acquisition in the history of the food industry.  Kraft Food merged with Heinz in 2015 to become the 5th largest food company in the world.
