Description Extended Information

This International Ticket Company stock certificate is un-issued and is #67. Printed by the Broun-Green CO, 48 John St. NY. Their history dates back to 1898 when Charles Manshel purchased the Sun Printing Company and got their big break printing movie tickets during the golden age of movies. By 1917 he built a 40,000 square foot factory in Newark, NJ and renamed the company the International Ticket Company. He held patents on a specialty rotary press that was capable of printing over 1 million tickets a day.

The International Ticket Company expanded through the years printing on silk, War Ration Books during WWII, and even Chiquita Banana labels. They are still owned by the Manshel family today and are based out of New Orleans.
