This pre-Revolutionary War regional map of Lake Superior was part of Antonio Zatta's Atlante Novissimo as one of 12 parts of John Mitchell's maps of North America. This old map includes an inset of southern Florida and an Antique Map of the Bahamas.

These North American maps would become some of the most important maps defining the borders and treaties of the French and Indian War. They are regarded as the most important North American maps of the 18th Century.

Maps from Antonio Zatta are among the most collectible maps today.
