This pre-Revolutionary War regional map of what is now Wisconsin and Minnesota was once called the Northwest Territory. The map was part of Antonio Zatta's Atlante Novissimo as one of 12 parts of John Mitchell's maps of North America. These North American maps would become some of the most important maps defining the borders and treaties of the French and Indian War.

Maps from Antonio Zatta are among the most collectible maps today.
