This rare find is a jacket once used by a Trader Specialist on the New York Stock Exchange floor. This one belonged to a trader named Mike who worked for Global Direct Equities. Global Direct Equities was a brokerage house that traded on the NYSE. They operated from 2002 to 2017. They traded on the Floor and OTC and cleared through Wedbush.

This NYSE Stock Broker Jacket was made by Chicago company Peco. Peco was established in 1919 and makes the majority of Trader Jackets on the NYSE and the Chicago Board of Trade. The front features the embroidered name of the trader (Mike) and the patch of his firm. The arm has the American Flag patch. The American Flag patch was universally adopted by most firms on the NYSE Floor after 9/11. The label in the collar usually has the trader or firms' name and the city like this one. The back of the jacket is mesh.

As the relevance of floor traders dwindles, these jacket have become very rare finds, no matter the condition. These stock exchange trader jackets look great in a jersey display cases! This one is a fantastic example.
