This rare Preston Anticline Oil Company stock certificate was issued in 1921 and is hand-signed company president. They were based out of Fort Denison, Texas. The Preston Anticline is a large plunging arch that extends southeast through Bonham and through Ector, Texas and represents and upthrust of 700-800 ft. The Preston Anticline Oil Company owned oil leases in Grayson and Fannin Counties north of Denison, TX. They worked with Western Drilling Company to drill their leases.

Condition: as pictured; slight tearing at the edges of the folds. Tape on the back. Will frame nicely.
