This RJR Nabisco Holdings Group, Inc. Bond Certificate was issued for $16,825 in 1991.

RJR Nabisco formed in 1985 from the merger of Nabisco and R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. RJR was formed in Winston-Salem in 1875 (these would later become brands of cigarettes). RJR Nabisco was bought in what was then the largest leveraged buyout in history in 1988 by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. In 1999 the tobacco arm of the company was spun off due to concerns about tobacco lawsuits. Nabisco is now owned by Mondelez International Inc.
