This Reading Company Jersey Central Collateral Gold Bearer Bond certificate was issued in 1902 for $1000. The Philadelphia & Reading Railroad was one of the first railroad lines to be built in the United States.  In 1896 it became the Reading Company.  The Reading Company was made famous in the classic Monopoly board game.  Hand signed by the company vice president and secretary.
