This Gerlach-Barklow Company stock certificate was issued to Jackson & Curtis in 1929 and is hand signed.  Gerlach Barklow was founded in 1907 in Joliet, Illinois.  They were are an art calendar printing factory who, at its peak, employed over 1500 in the 1950s.  Local artist were often used and the calendars were purchased by business to give as gifts to clients.
