The Golden Cycle Mining & Reduction Company was a mining conglomerate in Colorado and incorporated in West Virginia in 1895 as The Golden Cycle Mining Company. The company owned interests and land in coal mining at Pikes Peak Consolidated Fuel Company and gold mining in United Gold Mines in Cripple Creek Colorado. The Golden Cycle also owned mills and a power plant in the area. The vignette features the largest cyanide mill in the united states.
