Description Extended Information

This Warner-Lambert Pharmaceutical Company Stock Certificate was issued in 1968.  Warner-Lambert dates back to 1879 with the development of Listerine.  Listerine was originally developed to be a surgical disinfectant. It was named after Sir Joseph Lister who performed the first antiseptic surgery in 1865. The company grew over the years to include brands such as Sudafed, Benadryl and Schick Razors. They merged with Pfizer in 2000.
